Dustho Meyeder Nirapad Ashram o Punorbashan Kendro (DMNAPK) Girls Safe Home
DMNAPK is a safe home for young Bangladeshi orphan girls situated in Gazipur, Bangladesh. DMNAPK has perfected a holistic approach in guiding orphan girls to recognize their potential as self-sufficient women and trailblazers in Bangladesh. The safe home houses nearly 50 girls ranging in age from 5 to 17 years. DMNAPK is staffed by a committed team of 7 teachers and specialist volunteers.
The girls are very ambitious, and we look forward to further nurturing their career goals through our remote teaching program. Applying the Bangladesh NCTB, we are currently providing seven classes from Grades 1-12 in Math, English For Today, and English Grammar. In the near future, we hope to expand our classes to provide a comprehensive remote schooling program for the girls. The girls will be taking their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams in November and December of 2021, and we hope to ensure that the girls will excel with the support of our remote teachers. We at Fera Foundation are proud to partner with DMANPK in empowering the brilliant, industrious girls at the safe home on their academic and professional journeys.
